me, myself and I...

myself collage...
I am 47 years old, a wife of an electronics communications engineer, a mother of three beautiful individuals with different personalities. I am a degree holder both my two courses, the second one which I earned and gained the license 5 years ago. Once in every three years I upgrade my license. At the moment I am the WOMAN IN THE HOUSE, doing the routinary chores everyday. I thank God for everything. Soon, God willing I will be celebrating my 25 years in marriage and will renew my vow.  As humans, we're full of emotions, hate and remorse, to nag and feel angry with, love and emptiness, to have compassion, and feel both pain and pleasure. These vulnerability are preprogrammed within but to some degree are also learned from experiences. Mine were combinations of everything which makes my balanced personality. As a mother, I am a friend to my children but firm and severe in disciplining them, when I say NO to their plea it means really NO and we don't have to compromise. As a wife, I am faithful to my vow and specific to my promise as God wants me to be. I know well when my husband is lying, I know when to fight and I know when it's not. This is me.

connectivity and beyond, that's what friends are for...

Friendship is...
providing a gentle haven when the other needs it, cherishing together the joys and trauma of life and growth. Nourishing one another's dreams and hopes. Encouraging each other to stretch patience as far as possible. Listening one another without questioning motives, easing pains and burdens instead of fueling it. Loving the person in spite of imperfections...

It all started in our college years back in 1983, our friendship blossoms constantly. and as we age gracefully, we cherish every moment when were together whenever possible. Thanks God for the 29 years Maria, Marilyn, Imelda and Alice!

The Sun is Hiding, While the Rain is Gently Pouring

It's Monday today, just an ordinary day with an extra-ordinary MIRACLE. Thanks God!
Woke up so early than usual because of the pouring rain. Immediately went to the kitchen as I usually do and grab the pot for some hot stuff, coffee and cream, eggs, meat loaf and other things for breakfast.

Being In It, Being Alive...

Every dawning is a gift. Let us give THANKS to the ONE above for giving us another day to breathe, to witness every goodness He created. Let us all be grateful for another day that He allow us to experience. With a grateful heart, let us move to a bright new day to savor the goodness in life, the ordinary day but with a GREAT miracle, of being alive. Amen.
